Amazing Opportunity – 1984 Chevy S10 Blazer – ONLY US$7,500

This vehicle is one of those “once in a lifetime“, “too good to pass up” deals.

1984 S10 Chevy Blazer

The Chevrolet S-10 is a compact Pickup truck from the Chevrolet marque of General Motors which was released in 1982. It was the first compact Pickup of the big three American automakers.

When the 1984 model was released it could be ordered with a choice of 3 engines:

  • 1.9L LR1 Isuzu in-line 4;
  • 2.0L LQ2 GM 122 in-line 4, 2-barrel;  or
  • 2.2L LQ7 Isuzu Diesel in-line 4.

It also came with a choice of a 3 or 4 speed automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The current owner has owned it for approximately 18 months, however the previous owner of this Blazer wasn’t content to “let sleeping dogs lie”. He wanted more power and so he went and GOT more power.

In 1987, the Blazer was fitted with a Z-28 Tuned Port 350 V-8, coupled with the standard Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission. There isn’t anything standard about the 300HP the Blazer puts out though! Compared to the insipid 83HP that the 2.0L LQ2 GM 122 in-line 4, 2-barrel saddled the versions released by Chevrolet, this Chevy absolutely Blazed down the road!

This is a 2 owner vehicle with 66,705 miles on her.

The Blazer runs and drives great with the original factory “Frost Beige” paint and very nice cloth and vinyl interior. Although there are minor paint chips in the paint, given its age this Truck is in amazing condition. As it is an Arizona vehicle it has absolutely no rust underneath or on the body, and:

  • has Power steering & brakes;
  • NEW AM-FM-CD Radio;
  • 15″ Aluminium mag wheels;
  • Sunroof;
  • Nice Michelin tyres with 60 – 70% tread left;
  • Good brakes;
  • Lots of power;
  • Good gas mileage up to 20MPG; and
  • has been lowered 3 inches which gives the vehicle a lovely stance.

There are a couple of cracks in the dash which has a very nice dash cover over it.

There are no issues with the Engine which does not leak or use any oil and runs and drives great with the PROPER amount of power. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly.

The Air Conditioning has been disconnected and requires seals and re-gassing.

If you want some real inexpensive fun; you need to buy this S10 conversion. It has been taken to a lot of classic car shows and it draws a lot of attention.

You will not find a better Classic Muscle Truck for the price of ONLY US$7,500.

This vehicle is located in the US so if you are interested in the Blazer, please let me know and I will give you an “as landed” price to any Port in Australia or New Zealand.

Until next time. Michael
